Screen Owner Terms

The Screen Owner Terms describes the terms applicable to all users who create or host their own screen using eescreen.com service. These Terms are additional rules for the General Terms, so both are applicable to a Screen Owners. By creating and hosting your own screen with our eescreen.com service, you become Screen Owner.

As a Screen Owner, you agree these additional Screen Owner Terms on top of our General Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

If you upload your own advertisements to your own screen, you'll become Advertiser and therefore Advertiser Terms applies also for you.

Business responsibilities

As a screen owner, you are solely responsible for your screen business. You are in a business relationship with paying advertisers and held responsible for them, not Us. We provide the platform for Screen Owners with provision based fee from Screen Owners income, so we do not have any business relationship with advertisers.

When you approve advertisement campaign from an advertiser, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with the advertiser, which comes into effect when the payment is completed. If there are any disputes between Screen Owner and advertiser, we do not become involved.

Permissions

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and authority to run advertisement business in a location and the screen of your choice. We are not providing permission related instructions, since those vary depending of authorities of your specific screen location apartment, building, community, town, city, municipality, country, etc. Since eeScreen display in meant to be used indoors through window, permissions are typically needed only by the owner of your location. Verify also for possible constrains regarding screen brightness and running your display 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

Service responsibility

You must present complete and accurate information about your own screen, such as location, image, description and price. Description must include any possible service exceptions, your own personal restrictions on the screen content or any other information that might affect your screen advertisers.

You are responsible for your screen maintenance to make sure your screen running as promised to your advertisers. Check your screen regularly and if you see or get information about malfunctions, fix those as quickly as possible. If there are some known maintenance breaks on your screen, make sure those are as short as possible and with minimal impact to advertisement campaigns.

Content

You are solely responsible for the content running on your eeScreen. If there are legal disputes of the content running on your screen, you are held responsible for it. Do not approve any advertisements to your screen, if you are not sure is it appropriate content. Read carefully our more detailed content rules in General Terms page.

As a screen owner, you have no rights to use the content uploaded by your advertisers, excluding the automatic advertising done by eeScreen service.

Payments, taxes and Refunds

Generic information about Payments, taxes and refunds are explained on General Terms page.

You need Stripe account to receive any payments and to define your possible VAT eligibility. You can create and connect stripe account directly from your eeScreen account page. If you already have your own Stripe account, it can be connected to your eeScreen account.

If you are VAT eligible, you need to set up your VAT information to your Stripe account or otherwise you VAT eligible advertisers cannot deduct their VAT from their payments. You agree to pay all applicable taxes or charges imposed by any government entity in connection with your participation in the Service. We have rights to provide your information related to incomes and taxes to legal authorities related to your business.

After you have received your payment from the advertiser, you are solely responsible for the possible refund. Your payment might be delayed by Stripe depending on the money transfer delays or our adjustments for the payment policies of eeScreen Stripe account.

EeScreen (Eeku Oy) is VAT eligible company in EU, so the EeScreen provision includes VAT. EeScreen provision is taken from the payments received by the Screen Owner and we do not charge advertisers at all. We are not in any business relationship with advertisers. Provision is taken automatically from your payments and should be considered as a cost of the Screen Owner.

Termination

We would like you to stay with us, so we hope you think your options, before terminating your account and business related to it. It is always possible to move your screen to another location, by writing about your move to your screen's description. If your new location is not suitable for screen, have you considered selling your business (screen and all settings) to the next person or entity in your current location? Giving your account to someone else is not allowed in our Terms of Service, but contact us and we'll figure out something.

If you terminate your screen, we hope that you do it correctly without causing any harm to your paying advertisers. Remember that you are responsible for all possible refunds of payment you have received, so you might have to pay refunds if you terminate your screen before all paid campaigns have ended.

If you know that you are going to terminate your business, do not approve any new advertisements. You should also stop receiving advertisements by setting your "Accept new ads" checkbox as false from your screen's advanced settings, which will also make your screen to disappear from searches. If you know your termination date, you can also set that date to your "Ending Date" from your screen's advanced settings.

If we have to terminate or suspend your account because of severe violations of our Terms, you might be still responsible for possible refunds. When your account is terminated, you may lose any information associated with your account, including all your screen content.
